Fermented wheat germ extract
The unique ingredient of Avemar products is Avemar Pulvis, which is prepared by fermenting selected quality wheat germ extract.
We are proud that our preparation is the world's first fermented wheat germ extract, which was created by Dr. Máté Hidvégi based on the idea of the Nobel laureate Albert Szent-Györgyi, and that the effects of the preparation were tested by internationally renowned Hungarian cancer researchers, Academician Prof. Dr. Károly Lapis, Prof. Dr. Béla Szende, Semmelweis University Institute Director, and Dr. Erzsébet Rásó, Semmelweis University Research Institute teacher and cancer researcher, confirmed it, and food chemist Dr. Rita Farkas was at the forefront of chemical standardization.
Wheat germ: the beginning of new life:
Albert Szent-Györgyi was convinced that wheat is consumed as a staple food because our body instinctively knows that the nutrients it contains are the building blocks of our lives.
The wheat germ is the part of the wheat grain responsible for growth and reproduction. So this is not the sprouted wheat plant, but the small "germ of life" found in the wheat kernel, which is extracted from the wheat grains using a milling process. It contains a high concentration of numerous vitamins and micronutrients, spermidine, and the special benzoquinone molecule, which is considered by Albert Szent-Györgyi to be one of the components of life.
The consumption of wheat germ itself is useful in many ways, but it must be modified to achieve a physiologically significant effect. The special fermentation that is carried out under pharmaceutical manufacturing conditions is suitable for this, and thanks to which the preparation is enriched with new molecules and unique properties.
To prepare Avemar, we use first-class, GMO-free, top-quality wheat germ grown in Hungary.
Fermentation: tradition at a master level
Simply put: chemical conversion with enzymes and microorganisms. Many natural processes take place with the help of microorganisms (fungi, bacteria), during which organic substances are broken down and transformed. Humanity has recognized and utilized the potential inherent in these processes. This is how "fermentation" was created, which is already a conscious, controlled technological process.
A well-known, simple example of fermentation is beer production and wine production, but they are produced with biotechnological fermentation, e.g. penicillin and many other antibiotics.
For the fermentation of the wheat germ extract used in Avemar, we use a patented process, unique tools, unique technology, and a yeast strain (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) deposited from the Pasteur Institute in Paris. The process takes place in sterile, pharmaceutical factory conditions in order to ensure that each Avemar product is the highest quality fermented wheat germ extract in the world.
From wheat germ to Avemar
In order to ensure the effectiveness of Avemar, the fermentation conditions and parameters were carefully developed and protected with patents and know-how, so the process cannot be reproduced in home conditions, but it cannot be copied in pharmaceutical laboratories either. What's more, universities and clinics always use Avemar for international research with fermented wheat germ extract due to its proven effectiveness and standardized pharmaceutical quality.
At Biropharma's factory in southern Hungary, sterile aeration is provided during the process for the production of Avemar. The precious fermentate obtained in the presence of the special yeast strain is separated and fine-filtered, then gently concentrated in a vacuum (at low pressure) and then spray-dried. The applied spray drying process is extremely fast and gentle, protecting the heat-sensitive components from heat stress. The powder obtained in this way is the active ingredient of Avemar Pulvis, used for making tablets, granules and drink powder of Avemar products.
The various Avemar formulas are produced, packaged and controlled by Biropharma Kft. under strict pharmaceutical manufacturing conditions. The production process takes place in clean, filtered and compressed air-supplied rooms. The received Avemar products are checked according to all prescribed parameters for each batch of production. The control includes the so-called also high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) tests, during which quantitative and qualitative (fingerprint chromatography) tests are performed. Reliable quality is the basis of Avemar's international success and reputation, as the professional level it represents has been recognized with awards in several countries.
As a result of a special, gentle, chemical- and alcohol-free process, wheat germ becomes a preparation with completely unique molecules and effects, used worldwide: this is Avemar.
